Electronic Warfare (EW)
Electronic warfare (EW) is the military use of the electromagnetic spectrum to detect, disrupt or deceive enemy activities while protecting one's own use of the spectrum. It comprises three main areas: electronic support (ES) for signal intelligence, electronic attack (EA) for disrupting or destroying enemy systems, and electronic protection (EP) for protecting one's own electronic resources. The aim of EW is to secure information and operational superiority in the electromagnetic environment.
Electronic Warfare (EW) enables control of the electromagnetic spectrum and the defence against enemy actions.
